Holy Smokes

I don’t know why this gets me so bad, but it does.

Action/Reaction - Choir of Young Believers

Denmark’s Choir of Young Believers is really one man with a selection of supporting musicians who come and go. That man is Jannis Noya Makrigiannis. Aside from having large business cards, Makrigiannis plays guitar, sings, and writes the band’s brand of folk-inspired, orchestra-laden music. Action/Reaction is taken from the band’s first full-length release, 2009’s This Is For The White In Your Eyes. The band’s second album, Rhine Gold, was released in March 2012.

We got a rock DJ,
We got a total fucking alcoholic
We got a thing they call a cyber-girl
One more patient please for the dude who sold us Ecstasy
He’s building homes now in the new third world

The first half of this song is perfect. The second half is pretty good too.

So much truth in this.
